Nationalization of elites

President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent to the State Duma a bill which requires prohibiting officials at the federal and regional levels, appointed by President and the Government of Russia, people who take managing positions in the Central Bank and minor citizens from having accounts in foreign banks situated abroad, bonds and stocks of foreign entities, including foreign countries.

Experts discussed the political importance of the measures proposed by the President, their influence on the situation on the Russian elites, and international experience.
