The Foundation at a Glance

 

The Foundation for Civil Society Development is a non-governmental organisation whose main focus of research is in the fields of politics, regional development and contemporary media.

 

 

Our ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical politics. We want to ensure that our work is relevant and that the conclusions we make are easily applicable.

 

Our mission is to improve the quality of politics and society through research, analysis and predictions.

 

 

 

The Foundation pursues independent scientific research projects and provides grants to other social, scientific research NGO's which cover similar themes.

 

 

 

Official data

The Foundation for Civil Society Development (FCSD) was conceived on the 4th of June, 2012. The founders were: Russian Public Policy Fund, Institute for Public Planning an independent non-commercial organization, OPORA ROSSII the All-Russian public organization for SME, MediaSoyuz All-Russian public organization of mass media professionals. The Members of the Board are: K.N. Kostin (Chairman of the Board), A.Yu. Trubetskoy, S.R. Borisov, V.A. Fadeev, A.E. Astafiev., S.V. Stoyalova.

 

 

Branches 

The Foundation for Civil Society Development (FCSD) has opened branches in six regions of Russia: Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk, Saint Petersburg, Stavropol, Simferopol, Nizhny Novgorod.
